4th Annual LOG Judged Concours

This year at the LOG in New York we will once again offer the option of having your car judged by a team of Concours judges. The goal of the judged Concours is to promote the preservation and originality of Lotus cars built at least 25 years ago, therefore all cars up to and inclusive of 1988 Stevens' Esprits are eligible for judging this year. Note that this is a change from the previous 35 year restriction, as we would like to offer this option to a broader group of Lotus LTD members.

The team of judges is a hand-picked group of Lotus, Ltd. members that includes specialists in everything from Type Six to Esprit, and Type 14 Elite through Type 75 Elite. Therefore, having your car judged can not only provide validation for the hard work that you've put into the maintenance and restoration for your car, but also reinforce its heritage, originality, and market value all at the same time.  For those whose restoration isn't quite complete, having your car judged can provide guidance on how to finish your car in the most original way possible since it will be given attention by a team of judges that know your particular Lotus Type well.

The judging takes place on the LOG Concours field, and, as in previous years, if you choose to have your car judged by the Concours judging team, it will not be eligible to be judged in the People's Choice portion of the Concours. Cost for this option is $25 and trophies are awarded to the winners in each class. If you have any questions regarding the Judged Concours, please don't hesitate to E-mail me or call me on (610) 704-8739.
